Kestone IMS designed and fabricated the stall for Pegasus Institute of Excellence, which won the BEST STALL AWARD at the prestigious Bangalore IT.in, which is probably the largest IT event in South Asia.

The Pegasus Institute of Excellence (www.pegasusinstitute.com), a pioneer in the area of Outward Bound Learning (OBL) training programs in India is currently celebrating their 10th year. To showcase their services and value propositions at Bangalore IT.in (www.bangaloreitevent.in), which is traditionally one of the largest IT events in South Asia, Pegasus chose another 10 year-old company, Kestone IMS, to design and fabricate a stall that would portray their services and image properly. Kestone has also been a customer of Pegasus, having taken a total of nearly 200 person-days of training from Pegasus' expert Faculty in the areas of team building and leadership.

The familiarity and knowledge that Kestone had of Pegasus was a great starting point for the proejct - however, it was important to find just the right balance in terms of visual impact for the stall, as Pegasus is an educational institution rather than a business organization, and while the objective was to make the stall stand out prominently, it was important not to make it too glitzy and hard-selling in it's appearance. Also, due to the size and leading status of Bangalore IT.in as an event, it was inevitable that there would be much larger stalls of other companies, designed and fabricated with much higher budgets, so to be noticed in such an event itself could be a challenge.

The Kestone team came up with the idea of creating an installation art exhibit as the mainstay of the Pegasus stall, which was a 3-D model of a hill, showing rapelling on a rock face, a raft-making activity on another side, and an obstacle course on yet another side. Also prominently displayed on the stall walls, were well designed exihibits highlighting the training methodology, history, service offerings and locations of Pegasus, including a set of pictures of the Indian Cricket team undergoing an OBL training in Pegasus a few months ago. Due to the combining of just the right elements of design, the visual impact of the stall achieved an excellent balance - and to the delight of all, but not completely surprisingly :), the Bangalore IT.in authorities awarded the best stall award to the Pegasus stall.
