Kestone recently organised an astounding multi city event under the banner, Dell EMC Forum. A flagship event by Dell EMC where IT decision makers explore and discover technology trends and global best practices in order to realize digital and IT transformation.
2200+ CIOs and ITDMs from 1400+ Organizations were reached out across Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Based on the core concept of how digitization has become the backbone of innovative businesses globally, Dell organized this platform to enlighten these delegates on the path to realize IT transformation.
Following Dell’s vision, Kestone conceptualized this unique event format with four parallel tracks to showcase the foundation pillars required for realizing IT transformation – Cloud Strategy, Modern Infrastructure, Workforce Transformation and Digital Transformation.
Dell EMC Forum was a perfect harmony of design and technology. It was experiential as well as immersive with Dell Solution Expo, Partner and Dell Solution Demo Zones, VR Booths, Customer Advocacy Booths that encouraged customers to give their feedback and a full-fledged mobile app that enhanced delegate engagement and amplified social media participation.
Some of the highlights of the event included large screen presentations, with decor and designs inspired from Dell’s brand philosophy; online polls facilitated by the mobile app that gave speakers a sense of audience pulse and real conversations with CIOs that highlighted their transformation journey.
An informal chat session between noted quiz master and sports enthusiast Joy Bhattacharya and Mithali Raj, captain of the Indian Women’s Cricket team focused on the challenges faced while realizing dreams. The Dell EMC and Partner Demo Zones not only excited delegates and imparted knowledge but also established the technologically advanced viewpoint of Dell. The Solution Expo embodied its promise of showing delegates a vision of 2030 and took them on a guided audio tour through the four pillars of IoT, Digitization, Data Science and Visualization technologies like AR and VR that will drive Digital Transformation. The audio tour was further enhanced by futuristic videos that gave delegates a glimpse of the future. There were also partner booths from leading IT and telecom brands such as Tata Communications, VMware, Dimension Data among others who showcased their products and solution offerings.
This year, Dell Designathon, a 24 hour design challenge was also launched at Dell EMC Forum. With the theme of sustainability, Designathon had 10 shortlisted teams competing for the big prize. These teams represented various industry sectors where design plays an important role. Using Dell Precision workstations, they designed futuristic products which would help in creating a sustainable and inclusive tomorrow. Jury members from the design fraternity were invited to come and judge the winners of Dell Designathon. The event was endorsed by India Design Council – a Government of India nominated body that promotes design in the country and supported by Association of Designers in India (ADI).
This flagship event kick started with Mumbai on 08 September, followed by New Delhi on 15 September, Hyderabad on 19 September and finally concluded on 22 September in Bengaluru.
